Show Summary
Home Movies is a show about Brendon Small, a kid raised in a single parent home. He also directs his own home-made movies with best friends Jason and Melissa. It is made by Soup2Nuts using Squigglevision in the first season, and Flash in the second season and up.

Home Movies was a short lived series on UPN in 1999, until Cartoon Network picked it up. It ran from 2001-2004 for three more seasons as part of Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming block before it was finally cancelled in 2004.

Season One
Episode 1 - Get Away From Mom | 8.7
Brendon is thoroughly disgusted when Coach McGuirk dates his mother.
Episode 2 - I Don't Do Well In Parent-Teacher Conferences | 8.8
Paula doesn't want to go to the parent-teacher conference, after discovering Brendon has been slacking off all year.
Episode 3 - The Art Of The Sucker Punch | 9.3
Brendon wants to get revenge on Jason's bully.
Episode 4 - Brendon Gets Rabies | 9.2
Paula agrees to watch the neighbour's cat, but decides Brendon should do it instead.
Episode 5 - Yoko | 8.7
Brendon finds love on a school camping trip! Somebody pees in McGuirk's canteen!
Episode 6 - Director's Cut | 9.4
Dwayne, Brendon's neighbor, gives him a script for a rock opera based on Franz Kafka's "Metamorphosis". While Jason and Melissa love the project, Brendon is against it, favoring his own work "Louis Louis" (where Louis Pasteur meets Louis Braille). Meanwhile, McGuirk has problems with new assistant coach Andrew.

Episode 7 - It Was Supposed To Be Funny | 8.9
Erik approaches Brendon to do a film about Melissa's grandfather's life. Brendon decides to make the movie better by putting Grandpa in drag and having him sing. However, Brendon makes Melissa mad for making fun of her grandfather.

Episode 8 - Method Of Acting | 8.9
Brendon takes acting lessons, Paula meets a new friend in her Creative Writing class and McGuirk is trying to win a hovercraft. Nothing really works out for either.

Episode 9 - Life Through A Fish Eye Lens | 9
Brendon's desire for a fisheye lens for his camera doesn't match well with Paula's newfound financial problems. Meanwhile, Coach wishes to beat his former mentor in a game of soccer.
Episode 10 - School Nurse | 9.3
The school gets a new nurse. Jason thinks he's in love with her, Brendon doesn't like the fact she can tell when he's faking sick and McGuirk goes on a (bad) date with her.
Episode 11 - Mortgages And Marbles | 9.5
Brendan makes an educational video to teach kids not to put marbles in their nose. McGuirk looks for a new place with Erik, but ends up right back where he started.
Episode 12 - Law & Boarders | 9.1
Brendon gets hit and injured by a car only to be blamed for the accident himself. McGuirk fails to get Brendon out of his situation. Meanwhile, Paula's old friend Stephanie is in town.
Episode 13 - Brendon's Choice | 8.9
After winning the "Young Filmmaker of the Year" award, Brendon is interviewed by Dixie Smithley from Channel One News. All is going well until Dixie Smithley asks about Brendon's father. Meanwhile, McGuirk is forced to take anger management classes.

Season Two

Episode 1 - Politics | 8.5
Brendon successfully runs for class president, but his connections to Shannon might be his downfall. Paula gets flowers from her class. McGuirk tries out stand-up comedy.
Episode 2 - Identifying A Body | 9.1
On a road trip, Brendon spends the money he has collected for charity. It's walkathon time, and Mr. Lynch hopes to finally beat the fifth graders after four years of them winning. Brendon collects $50 from Paula, but when Coach McGuirk brings Brendon with him to identify his dead uncle's body, Brendon ends up spending all his cash on McGuirk's chores. He promises to pay him back, but he can't when he finds out his uncle left him an old sausage instead of money. Brendon again attempts to collect money, but a blind man steals it from him. Paula also tries to get a raise from her boss, who simply laughs in her face. So nothing works out, and then Brendon finds out the blind man is a faker.
Episode 3 - Hiatus | 8.7
After a less-than-great movie, Brendon, Melissa & Jason decide to take a break and have a hiatus. Brendon meets a new friend, Jason meets two new friends and Melissa is just pretty much bored the whole time. Paula�s high dropout rate combined with budget cuts cause Lindenson to make some changes. Meanwhile, McGuirk wants Lynch to come with him to Mexico (to save money).
Episode 4 - Business & Pleasure | 8.7
After playing a very small role in a movie, Jason invites Brendon over for a sleepover. Brendon is forced to leave when Jason starts discussing work. Then things start to get weird�Meanwhile, Paula asks Erik for some help in finding a job and McGuirk thinks Brendon is on drugs.
Episode 5 - The Party | 9.4
It�s Fenton Mulley�s birthday party! Unfortunately, Fenton is just spoiled brat from the soccer team. Brendon makes a video for a gift that is less than complimentary; Melissa tries to stop Jason�s candy binge; Walter & Perry have some of their greatest moments; and McGuirk just might set Fenton straight.
Episode 6 - Impressions | 8.4
Brendon lies in order to impress Cynthia; Paula lies in order to get a job as a temp; McGuirk lies in order to impress a woman from his old school.
Episode 7 - Dad | 9.1
Brendon finally gets to meet Andrew, his dad. After an awkward conversation and a trip to the zoo, Brendon starts having an actual father-son relationship. However, things get complicated when Brendon starts having trouble with Andrew�s love interest Linda. Meanwhile, McGuirk decides to become a big brother after helping out a challenged kid named Eddie.
Episode 8 - Therapy | 9.3
Brendon, his father, and Linda all attend social therapy in an effort to get along with one another, but then the therapist tells Brendon he's the centerpiece of all the discord..
Episode 9 - Class Trip | 9.4
Brendon's class is going on a field trip to a hotel. Brendon, Jason and Melissa sneak away to shoot a movie. Paula tries to keep her sanity as a chaperone. Next door at the coffee shop, McGuirk has gotten a job under the name Brendon Small.
Episode 10 - History | 9.4
Brendon is failing history, despite help from his tutor, McGuirk. Meanwhile, Starboy and his brother the Captain of Outer Space are faced with their biggest challenge as they fight evil historical figures George Washington, Pablo Picasso and Annie Oakley.
Episode 11 - Writer's Block | 9.1
A Writer's block threatens to hamper Brendon's participation in the school writer's fair. After failing several times to come up with something, Brendon Jason, and Melissa decide to perform at the fair script less, making their piece up as they go. As a result, their completely un-planned, un-rehearsed efforts make them a hit with the audience. Meanwhile Paula attempts to write a romance novel.. and fails miserably. Coach McGurk begins to suffer from insomnia, placing him under the watchful eye of a university research department, who pay him so they can study his condition. His insomnia lasts seven whole days before it finally subsides, just as McGurk was counting on it to last a little longer so he could have earned the cash he needed to buy a DVD player.
Episode 12 - Pizza Club | 8.9
Brendon and his dad meet to eat pizza as the Pizza Club. Coach McGuirk finds out and wants to join their pizza club. Meanwhile, Paula is interested in acting in Brendon's films.
Episode 13 - The Wedding | 9.0
The day of Brendon's dad's wedding comes with a truckload of chaos, Brendon breaks out in a terrible rash due to nerves, Mcguirk is seduced by a wedding guest, only to completely turn her off him.
And Paula accidentally orders some baby trees instead of flowers. Once the trouble is over, finally, things turn out fine, Brendon's dad gets married, and Paula is surprised to discover she's been been given her old job back.
Season Three

Episode 1 - Shore Leave | 9.6
Erik signs up Melissa for the Fairy Princess Organization after he fears she�s becoming a little too manly. Brendon ends up being forced to stay the weekend at Fenton�s house.
